Our client, a Middle East based bank is looking for a Retail Credit Analyst to join its expanding team in Qatar. The successful candidate has to verify, analyze, and process retail credit applications in a timely manner and in accordance with credit policies and procedures for making an informed approval/reject decision.
Responsibilities:
• Assess the overall credit worthiness of various client companies.
• Promote credit products and services to dealer personnel and customers.
• Recommend and advise changes to various credit policies and procedures.
• Analyze financial information like cash flow statements and management accounts.
• Provide excellent service to the internal customers by performing risk assessment analysis.
• Help the staff to ensure that policies and procedures comply with the departmental standards.
• Liaise with other department members within the company like product specialists, account managers and so on.
• Develop models and methodologies of credit information in order to predict trends and patterns using specific statistical software.
• Ensure proper credit approval criteria, by periodic review of acquisition data and performance, to minimize company exposure to loss.
• Review and make decisions on credit transactions based on authority level, or submit for recommendation to a higher approval authority.

Education and Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or Statistics.
• Experience working in financial credit systems, collections, reporting, credit proposals or any credit related activities in a bank in the GCC.
• Must be based in Lebanon.
